Damselfly: Extreme Close Up

Back in 2011 I had shared a blog post with photos of dragonfly. The photos were shot using my old camera Canon PowerShot A710 IS. Now that I am using a Canon PowerShot SX50 HS, I go out more often to capture birds, bugs and bees. Well, by more often I mean every weekend. I have discovered this new place in our neighboring colony. This place is lush green with tall grass and wild plants. This huge area has small paths to walk inside and gives me every opportunity to get closer to creatures like chameleons, grasshoppers, dragonflies, some nice birds like Spiders, Bulbuls, Sunbirds, Ashy Prinias and Scaly Breasted Munias. I will write more about this place in upcoming posts but today, I would like to share some photos of the dragonflies which I noticed where present in a big number in this small jungle :-)

  3. Greetings, my friend. And thank you for your wonderful comments on our blogs! Hope that all is well with you. I'm currently on a hiatus but am posting occasionally on L & L Photography (http://www.landlfotos.com/blog).

You have become an artiste with this camera. I'm still trying to figure out my SX40! :)

Best wishes to you and yours!
