Under the blue sky

We captured this photograph at Ross Island in Portrblair - Andaman using our Canon A710 IS digital camera. British administrative Headquarters once, Ross island now looks completely destroyed with only the remains of a beautifully set up colony left there. Read more about Ross Island HereFull of palm trees, the lush green island is surely a must visit place. The movement of palm leaves due to a heavy breeze on a sunny day with clear skies, looked really awesome and pleasing.

Greetings, Kcalphesh! A lovely photograph. I especially like the colors. If this had been taken in Florida, I would say the palm tree is stressed as indicated by the yellow in the leaves.

Fascinating place, this Ross Island. Thanks for the link.

I like seeing the swirl and whirl of the wind through the leaves. It kinda makes me feel giddy with joy. :-)

You captured the movement of the palm in the wind wonderfully! The green against the clear blue sky makes it all the more appealing.
